Library + Information Show In April 2004
Library + information show 2004, incorporating Total Library Solutions, is now the only exhibition in the UK dedicated to supporting librarians and information professionals.
Traditionally the launch pad for new products and services; LiS 2004 is no exception. This year's event takes place between 21-22 April 2004 and will have over 130 exhibitors attending the event. Nearly 50% of these are either totally new to the exhibition or are launching new products there.
The features running at LiS have also been updated and refreshed this year. Visitors can benefit from the following: Free, comprehensive seminar programme; Independent book publishers feature; Personal development zone; and Children’s book village.
The full seminar programme is now live on the web site. Speakers include John Byford, British Library, Graham Fischer LLDA, Wendy Cooling, Grace Kempster, British Council, Kathy Lemaire SLA, and Margaret Watson, CILIP. The subjects covered range from staff development to legal deposit.
